Back in the studio

Recently arrived back from my South America trip where I enjoyed winter in beautiful Uruguay and Argentina. Many new photographs from that trip are to be published in my stock portfolios in the following months, so stay tuned!

You can already see some street photography from that trip in the blog that belongs to my website. If you are into photography beyond stock / commercial use, on the site you will find samples of some of my other, more artistic photography work.

So what do you shoot in the studio when you have just arrived back from Uruguay and Argentina?  Yes, mate!

First photos are already in the oven and will be published soon within some specific Argentina and Uruguay collections.

The only thing I have not managed to emulate yet is the classic mate drinker position, with the flask and the rest of the paraphernalia skillfully held as if glued to your body:

Then again, it seems you must be at least 5th generation Uruguayan to do this properly.

Next week I will publish the second part of my scary food collection, Halloween is getting closer!!
