Costa Blanca sunrises, Part 1

Costa Blanca is the commercial nickname of the sunny spot I call home,  a beautiful stretch of Mediterranean coast dotted with tourist resorts  and a large  mountainous  pine forested  inland.  We will be seeing plenty of it on this blog, as an introduction I will be publishing a couple of posts with sunrises.

Its mild winters are the best time to go for sunrises: little haze, vibrant colors.

Almost always a nice little climb up some coastal hill is involved, so torch and a bit of fitness are essential. The reward, like here, is getting Calpe  bay from its very sunny side!

Though early morning on its sandy beaches is a rewarding setting as well:

A little further south, Altea, beaches are pebbled and as such, less crowded in summer and with room for some traditional industries:

Benidorm is a whole different story,  the busy skyline of one of Europe´s most popular beach resorts:
